Mom's wish has finally come true and Grandpa Cold Beer came up from South Carolina and moved our laundry room from the main level up to the second level. Since Grandpa was here Mom had to get all she could from him and we got new carpet on the main level of the house, added french doors to the office, made the old laundry room a mudroom, moved the garage door from the hallway into the new mudroom, added a double sink to Kellen and I's bathroom, transformed a hall closet into a second pantry and a few other odds and ends jobs around the house!!!!! I guess you can say he was pretty busy the entire 2 and a half weeks he was here :) I have the best Grandpa!!

Our house feels so different now. It's still gonna take some time to finish up the finishing touches but it's all functioning!!! The mudroom helps to keep so much dirt out of the house and gives us the perfect place to take off our shoes, put our coats and drop my back pack after school! Mom has really taken advantage of the new upstairs laundry room. Grandpa you are the best Dad and Grandpa in the entire world. Thank you so much for all the hard work you did on the house and all the special time we got to spend with you. We can't wait to get back to Folly Beach this summer and spend some time on the beach with you. We love you Grandpa!!!
Still so excited (and a wee bit jealous of all the fantastic storage!) for you and your home improvement projects. It was fun giving your dad hell while he was here :)
