It's coming home day...YIPPEEEE!!! I couldn't wait for Kellen to come home, the house had been so quiet all week long.

Look at that smile!!! It's the first one we saw!

Kellen was walking around the hallways trying to get someone to open up this candy. He kept saying "want that" but no one would open it for him... which is a good thing cause that is MY candy!!!

They had to take out his drain before he could go home, he wasn't too excited about that!

Kellen's head when they took off the bandage. It's amazing how round the front of his head is already. (Mom forgot to upload the before and after pics at the same time, but she will)

Kellen didn't love them pulling the drain out, the nurse said that the drain is wrapped all the way around his head, there was probably close to 12inches of drain that they pulled out from under his scalp.

Mom and Kellen

Kellen got to play a little bit in the playroom before we left today.

Kellen was trying on his helmet

Kellen has a big noggin... must run in the family, so they had to go back and get him a bigger helmet. So while they were gone getting a new helmet Kellen was playing around in the bed

How's Kellen look in his new helmet? You better get used to it, he's gotta wear it for awhile, which is a good thing considering how rough we play. He's needed that helmet for a long time, I'm sure you could all agree!!

Kellen was DONE with the hospital, he pushed the wagon down the hall towards the elevators waving at all the nurses. They were all so sad to see Kellen leave!!

Kellen was FINALLY home!! He wasn't feeling so hot, he ate a little bit for dinner then went to bed.

Mom put Kellen to bed and went and check on him and he had taken off all the dressing on his head. He hadn't touched it at all til we got home, but we think that the helmet had been bugging him so when we took it off he started messing with the dressings and got it all the way off!!

I even tried on his helmet

Look at Kellen... he woke up not feeling so hot. They think that the iron made his tummy upset, he just sat on Mom's lap... throwing up every 20 minutes or so. It's been a long night, but he should be feeling better in the morning.

Kellen has been sleeping on the floor all evening. Doesn't he look so cute?!!!
It's been a long week but we are all glad that it's all over and we are on the flip side of it. Kellen has been such a trooper and has recovered so quick. Thank you so much for all the prayers and well wishes, they were all very much appreciated. We love you all
