Surgery Day 3

Kellen spent another night in the hospital. I got to spend the night at Katie's house, Katie and I had so much fun playing together.

Mom woke up to find that Kellen had ripped out his IV, there was blood everywhere. Luckily they had just given him his last dose of antibiotics so they didn't have to put it back in.
Kellen was very active, walking all over the place entertaining everyone, the nurses loved him!!

The hospital had lots of fun toys for Kellen to play with.

Kellen spent most of the day walking up and down the hallways. The nurses all fell in love with him. Every time he would walk out of the room you could hear all the nurses saying "HI KELLEN". He had them all wrapped around his finger, he was waving and blowing kisses to everyone. One came and told Mom that if we wanted to leave him there they would adopt him. She said that most of the guests are just coming out of surgery and not very active so it was a breath of fresh hair to have Kellen walking around loving on everyone. Everyone knows that Kellen is a lover!!

When one of the other little girls saw Kellen she said "Hey that's the boy that's been looking in my window!!!" On our walks Kellen would run up to all the little windows just to see what everyone else was up to.

They were having puppy therapy, Kellen was in heaven. There were 6-7 dogs that all the kids were allowed to love on. Kellen had lots of fun!!!

Kellen got lots of balloons from everyone that loved him. He was having lots of fun playing with the Elmo balloon. Thanks to everyone that kept him in their prayers!!

All in all Kellen had a great day, he really was acting like his old self again. Without the bandage on his head you never would have know that he had just had surgery!
