We had one last trip planned for this summer and it was to Folly Beach to see Grandpa Cold Beer and Grandma Lynn. Daddy wasn't able to get off work again so it was gonna be just Mommy, Kellen and I- at the last minute we decided to invite Brayden and of course he had nothing better to do so he went with us!!!! After our long car ride to Phoenix we weren't really excited about another 18 hour car drive but this time we had Brayden to entertain us!!!
We surprised Grandpa by being at his favorite hang out when he got off work- he was SO happy to see us!!!
After meeting Grandpa we walked to the beach and Kellen, Brayden and I ran straight into the ocean, clothes and all :) We all LOVE the ocean (except Mom- she prefers a pool :))
Thursday morning we got up and went straight to the beach!!!
Collecting seashells
I've been loving UNO lately and I was lucky that Grandpa had UNO Attack and we were able to play it multiple times every night :)
My brother is crazy!
Kellen and Brayden playing cornhole
One of the best things about going to visit Grandpa is driving the golf cart!!! Brayden and I got lots of practice :)
Kellen LOVES his Brayden!!
Check out that hair!!!!
On our way home we stopped and spent the night in Poseyville, IN at Grammy's house. Kellen and I LOVE our Grammy and we loved showing Brayden Grammy's house!! The next day we got up and drove to St. Louis and visited the arch- that thing is HUGE!!
We went through the museum while we waited for our turn to go up in the arch
Here we are in the little elevator car going up to the top :)
It was so high and super cool up there- we could see so much!!!
After the Arch we went to the City Museum
(Mom had heard TONS of great things about this museum)
This place was insane!!! It's basically a hamster cage for humans- there were so many tunnels and hidden passages. It was SOOOOOO cool. Mom was so lucky Brayden was there cause he was able to climb into all the small places and was such a big help when Kellen got stuck!!!
The had just as much fun stuff outside!
This huge slide came all the way from the 3rd floor!!!
The last thing we did was go into the cave part and Brayden and I went down the 10 story slide!!!! It was super fast- unfortunately the museum was closing so we only got to go on the slide once but it was so much fun! Mom wasn't sure Kellen would like the 10 story slide so she let him go on the 5 story slide and he loved that. I think if we had had more time Kellen would have loved going down the big slide!
After the museum we headed back to KC- Dad was ready for us to get home (OK maybe he was ready for MOM to get home!!!) It was such an amazing week jammed packed with so much fun! A BIG thank you to Grandpa Cold Beer and Grandma Lynn- we LOVE and miss you guys so much!!
